You should definately make a reservation and try this restaurant. Don’t let the simple menu steer you away from the fresh inspirational entrees that exuded flavor from the first bite. This restaurant delivered on every dish from the fresh homemade focaccia bread with a honey butter to the sweet and tasty desserts and dessert drinks and everything in between. Every dish was an order again!!

The first course…
Any great meal would start with a nice bottle of wine, or a spicy margarita. Why not both! We started this delicious meal with the homemade focaccia bread with a honey butter. The focaccia was soft on the inside with a light airy texture and had a crisp crust on the outside. The honey butter was mildly flavorful and added a nice touch.

The menu had several small plates that we considered ordering. We settled on the Gulf Prawn and the Mediterranean Lamb Meatballs.
The Gulf Prawn…

The Gulf prawns were served on a bed of creamy cheesy polenta, with wilted pieces of bok choy, blistered shishito pepper, and topped with a chili garlic sauce. This was a flavorful dish with plump perfectly cooked shrimp paired with the soft creamy texture of the polenta and the earthy flavor of the peppers and bok choy that together was harmoniously delicious. This is a dish that will not disappoint your taste buds! A harmonious song as good as Simon and Garfunkel! - Dan.

The Mediterranean lamb meatballs were tender and spicy with Mediterranean flavors. The meatballs surprised you with their bold herby essence. They bit into your tongue in a spicy refreshing way. The meatballs sat on top a bed of white bean hummus that was creamy, and had a hint of garlic. Accompanied with fresh crispy pita and topped with citrusy greens. This was another palate pleasing dish. The flavors jumped out you at every bite. Like the boogie man when the lights go off , but in a good way - Dan.
All three main courses we tried were a definite order again!!

The Shrimp Gamelli was another amazingly flavorful dish! It had tender pieces of gulf shrimp with wilted peppers, gemelli spiral noodles and topped with breadcrumbs all married together in a complex spicy creamy sauce. They all played well together and gave you a zesty bite that called your fork back for more. I did not know whether to chew or smile, so I did both - Dan.

The salmon dish was perfectly seared with a crisp top and a tender juicy center. This sat atop fingerling potatoes and a creamy horseradish purée. The horseradish purée was a surprisingly interesting addition. It was horshradishy without being too much. It took a bite or two before I realized I was in love. Like my first girlfriend- Dan. The potatoes were the heavy to a light dish. Soft and creamy. Let’s not forget to mention the lemony dollops adorning the plate that added additional flavor to round this dish out. This is also another order again dish with exceptional flavor.

The Gnocchi is sometimes a heavy dish. This was anything but that. The Gnocchi were so tender they melted in your mouth. With a tasty creamy sage sauce. The winter squash added a unique sweetness that balanced this dish. The pork belly was perfectly seared on the outside and were moist and juicy in the center. Adding a rich texture and flavor to the dish. This was a perfectly balanced dish. Like Simone Biles on the beam - Dan.
What a better way to finish a delicious meal than with desserts and dessert drinks (and Coffee if you are Dan, the coffee addict).

The chocolate cake was rich and densely creamy. The banana was a necessary side show that paired with flavor of a carmelazied banana and chocolate with the sweet carmel like praline sauce and crispy hazelnut topping. This dish was a sweet rich finish to this flavorful meal. I don’t get Elvis, I don’t like bananas. My only bite of a banana was 7/7/1991. I realized, not for me! - Dan.

The dessert drink Cocoa Kisses was a chocolately warm palate refresher. It was made with Madagascar vanilla vodka, cocoa nib infused liqueur, and chocolate Baileys. It was velvetly, chocolately, and a perfect ending for someone who doesn’t typically eat dessert.

The Crème Brûlée…
The Crème Brûlée was a delightful version of a crispy topped crème with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream. Each bite made me start to mourn the soon to be empty ramekin. I could have eaten three of these except for the bloat. However, I managed to find my way to the bottom of this delightful dish. This was the best crème brûlée I have ever eaten, I can’t even joke about it - Dan.

We had the pleasure of helping our special guests celebrate their wedding anniversary. We won’t give how many years to give away their age. This was an excellent choice to celebrate with amazing dishes, great wine and drinks, and fabulous desserts!! Happy Anniversary Aaron and Tanya!
